What are QR Codes?
Common in Japan, they are fast becoming very popular in the UK. QR is short for Quick Response (they can be read quickly by a cell phone). They are used to take a piece of information such as your website address and display it on any printed media (magazine adverts, invoices, letterheads, business cards, clothing or billboards). It can then be scanned by most modern mobile phones. Once scanned, it can be used to show details about your business to the person scanning the QR Code (show your URL or a specific URL of a product or promotion).
Where can you get your own QR Code?
You can use our free QR Code Generator to create simple QR Codes, or if you require something a little different .... such as having your comapny logo embeded into the QR Code (see ours on this page), then simply get in touch for a quote.
Alternatively, Google also has a gadget that you can add to your Google homepage - found here.
